You might recognize these as the Funko Pop! Vinyl figures, which are really popular right now. In each pair, the one on the right is the original, and the one on the left is my modified version. Well, mostly original. For Ten, I wanted a red tie, not a brown one, so I painted that in, and then I added the dark buttons on the coat. For the modified version, I painted the suit (dark brown), tie (slightly lighter brown), and shoes (cream). The underlying blue shows through the brown just a little, and because of the vertical brushstrokes, it hints at pinstriping, so I left it like that. I did forget to put the teal swirl on the tie, so I have to put that in. Also, his right foot is slightly turned up, making him unstable, so I need to fix that as well.
Eleven was more difficult, since he wears a waistcoat. I used air-drying modeling clay to create the bottom of the waistcoat, and it came out pretty good - you can't see the seam where the clay meets the plastic from more than a foot away. Then I painted the waistcoat (lavender), jacket (slightly reddish dark purple), and bowtie (slightly bluish even darker purple).
