The RSC's "Shakespeare Live!"

In case you didn't know, this year is the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, and the Royal Shakespeare Company is putting on a celebration in Stratford-upon-Avon on April 23rd called "Shakespeare Live!" It will be hosted by David Tennant and Catherine Tate, and broadcast live to cinemas in the UK and Europe.

We in the US don't have to miss out. Fathom Events (the same company that handled the in-theater presentations of "The Day of the Doctor" and "Deep Breath"/"Dark Water", as well as the David Tennant Celebration back in 2014) will be showing the "Shakespeare Live!" in the US, a month late (May 23) and called "The Shakespeare Show" (because apparently Americans need a cheesy title to make us attend this kind of thing).
