Snowflake Challenge 2018 - Day 6 & 7

Catching up - was out all day yesterday.

Day 6

Leave feedback for a fanwork. Or multiple fanworks. It can be as simple as I liked this to a detailed list of all the things you loved about the fanwork. The key is to leave some sort of feedback.

If you've already left feedback in the course of a previous challenge, it totally counts. But you're free to leave more feedback.

I'm claiming having done this as part of a previous challenge. I also recently wrote a PM to a writer to tell her how much I enjoyed her works, with details on what specific things I liked.

Day 7:

In your own space, create a love meme for yourself. Let people tell you how amazing and awesome and loveable you really are. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so. Surf the comments and find people to give love to.

Um, no. I don't find this to be useful or empowering at all. Compliments and "love" given to me when I ask for them are meaningless. And honestly, I don't need or want any of that.

Tell you what, though. If you read the challenge text and thought you were going to leave me a bit of love, go choose someone else and tell them how much you love them. Your favorite fan artist, or a new fan writer that you've just discovered, or leave a comment on John Barrowman's Facebook page ('coz that man is amazing). Anyone. Or, you know, go to your spouse or your child or your mom, or that second cousin you only see once a year, and tell them something that you love about them or that they do brilliantly. If even one person does this, it would make this day's challenge for me. Thanks!
